Cockpit alerts and notifications

Introduction
From the "Alerts and Notifications" page you can configure which notifications you want to receive by email or by SMS from Cockpit. To get to this page, click on the top-right user menu and select "Alerts".
You can enter multiple email addresses and SMS numbers to be notified according to the user preferences, as detailed below.
Players
From this section, you can configure to receive alerts based on a player status change and / or some particular events.
Default player's configuration
The "Allow new players to be monitored" option under "Players" section controls the default Cockpit behavior for a newly added player.
Status
The following state change notifications can be sent:
- Success
- Notification is sent if a player was in warning or error state and returns to normal (OK) state.
- Warning
- Notification is sent when a player state changes to warning, regardless of the reason for the state change.
- Failure
- Notification is sent when a player state changes to failure, regardless of the reason for the state change.
Events
The following event notifications can be sent:
- Connectivity lost
- Notification is sent if a player goes off-line and the connectivity events are monitored.
- Connectivity restored
- Notification is sent if an off-line player goes back on-line and the connectivity events are monitored.
- Firmware version changed
- Notification is sent if the firmware version of the player is modified.
- License warnings and errors
- Notification is sent if a player premium license expires.
- Other errors
- Notification is sent if a failure events (not in the list above) occurs, such as:
- Player in safe mode;
- Publish/Upload error;
- Notification is sent if a failure events (not in the list above) occurs, such as:
- Other successes
- Notification is sent if a success event occurs.
- Other warnings
- Notification is sent if a warning event (not in the list above) occurs, such as:
- Player connecting to Cockpit with wrong identifications;
- Player already bounded in Cockpit added to another account.
- Notification is sent if a warning event (not in the list above) occurs, such as:
- Publishing errors
- Notification is sent after an error publishing content onto the player.
- Reboot
- Notification is sent after a player reboot - can be because of power cut, content crash, no content being rendered within 60s, temperature too high, or the HMP was left 1h in safe mode.
- Screen changes
- Notification is sent if the screen status is modified and the screen events are monitored.
- Storage warnings
- Notification is sent if storage warnings occurs and the storage events are monitored.
- Temperature warnings
- Notification is sent if temperature warning occurs and the temperature events are monitored.
Players with Custom Configuration
Here are listed all the players with a custom configuration are configured to ignore some events.
Cockpit
From this section, you can configure whether to receive email notifications from Cockpit regarding:
- Channels - when adding or removing channels, and in case of channel re-authorization problems.
- Licensing - when a premium player monitoring license or an Elementi Update Plan is about to expire or has expired.
- Newsletter
- Orders - when buying an Elementi Update Plan.
- Players - when adding or removing players from Cockpit.
