Introduction

Cockpit

Cockpit is a cloud-based web portal developed by SpinetiX to reduce your maintenance and operation costs and allow your solution to evolve with your needs during the project lifetime. Cockpit can be securely accessed from a browser from any device (PC, tablet, smartphone) and at any time, using https://cockpit.spinetix.com.

Creating a Cockpit account is free and takes only few minutes - once done, we recommend you to register your players and Elementi software licenses on Cockpit; this step is easy, free and brings you immediate benefits, as detailed below.

Services

The following services are available through Cockpit:

  • Player monitoring service
This service offers the possibility to remotely monitor various player parameters for any number of SpinetiX players, using either a Basic or a Premium monitoring service for each player. It is useful for inventory, quick support and maintenance of your players.
    • Basic monitoring is a free service that offers access to standard monitoring tools and limited update rate.
    • Premium monitoring offers unlimited access to advanced monitoring and notification tools with high monitoring precision. You can remotely preview the content rendered by your players, remotely install the latest firmware on your players, prevent potential issues (through automatic detection of major failures and potential risk scenarios) and react in case of incidents (through automatic SMS and email notifications).
  • Elementi licenses management service
This free service offers the possibility to register and manage your Elementi licenses - it is useful for inventory, manual activations, emergency releases and secure data access. You can also buy Update Plans (premium service) for your Elementi licenses.
  • Channels management service
This free service offers the possibility to connect different cloud accounts (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Yammer, Google, Flickr), referred to as channels, to your Cockpit account in order to allow your players to get real-time access to your personal data in a secured manner.
