The toolbar is fixed at the top of the GUI, while the size of the panels can be adjusted by dragging the horizontal and / or vertical panel separators. The Browse panel can be positioned under the Preview panel or under the Edit panel, according to the orientation setting (Menu > View > Orientation).

The toolbar contains the application general menu and shortcut buttons for different actions that are present in contextual right-click menus. In some cases, some of these buttons might be disabled (grayed out). Starting from left to right, the following buttons are included:

Troubleshooting

Large text labels

Before Elementi 2016, the text labels might appear larger than normal on high resolution screens due to Windows text scaling. To overcome this, you need to do the following changes in your Windows account:
  1. Change resolution from 4K to Full HD.
  2. Change text scale to 100%.
  3. Log out and then log back into your user account.
Starting with Elementi 2016, the application is "DPI Aware" to run correctly on high resolution monitors; while better support for high DPI (4K) displays was added in Elementi 2018.
