Get started with the iBX410

Unboxing

The first step is to take out the following items from the box:

• The iBX410 player
• The power delivery unit
• The two power cables - there's one with a type E+F plug and one with a type B plug.

Notes:

• There are no video or network cables inside the box - you'll need an HDMI cable and an Ethernet cable for the next step.
• There is a label on the inside of the packages with a QR code pointing to this guide.

Installation

All the connectors are on the player front side:

Note:

Before connecting the cables, it is recommended that all devices are unplugged from the power grid.

Connect the screen

The iBX410 outputs a video signal over HDMI 2.0b (UHD), so you need a display with an HDMI type A (female) connector and an HDMI cable (not included). For UHD/4K resolution output, a (Premium/Ultra) High Speed HDMI cable is required.

Follow these steps:

1. Connect one end of the video cable to the HDMI port of your player.
2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port of the display.

Connect the network

To connect the player to the wired network, you need a standard RJ45 Ethernet cable (not included).

1. Connect one end of the RJ45 cable to the Ethernet port of your player.
2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to a network port (female connector) of a network switch or a computer (direct connection).
   • In case of direct connection, if the computer doesn't support Gigabit Ethernet, then use an Ethernet crossover cable.

Connect the power

A power supply unit and two detachable cables for type B and type E/F plugs are delivered with the player. If you are using a different plug type, then use an adapter or a different cable.

Follow these steps:

1. Connect the lockable power connector attached to the PSU to the power port (marked with the DC symbol ⎓ ).
2. Connect the detachable cable to the PSU, then plug it into a power outlet.
3. Press the power button.
4. Switch on the screen and the LAN-Switch/computer.

Boot-up

The power LED should light up at this point, and you will hear a beep sound indicating that the player is starting the boot-up process. During the boot-up, a splash screen is shown at the screen's resolution.

Once the player has finished booting up, the screen will display something like this:

Notes:

• If the Power LED doesn't light up at all, then there is a problem with the power supply.
• If you cannot see anything on the screen, follow these troubleshooting steps.

Player setup

Basic

The iBX410 works out of the box with SpinetiX ARYA cloud-based service. A basic setup can be made directly in ARYA:

1. Open https://arya.spinetix.cloud/setup in a browser.
2. Log into ARYA with your user credentials, or sign up if you do not have a user account yet.
3. On the sidebar menu, go to Players → Setup, click the "ADD PLAYER" button on the right side of the page.
4. Set the player name, the screen orientation, and the time zone.
5. Wait for the player to reboot.

Note:

Once you add the player into ARYA, you can no longer access the Control Center for full player configuration. If that is needed, then you must remove the player from ARYA or do a reset to factory default settings.

Full

For a full configuration, before adding the player into ARYA, follow these steps:

1. Briefly press the power button to find the player addresses.
2. Type any of the addresses shown on your screen in your browser’s address bar.
   • If you cannot connect to the player, follow these troubleshooting steps.
3. Follow the instructions of the Configuration Wizard for the initial setup.
4. Make any other changes you might need within Control Center and restart your player to apply those configuration settings.
