DSOS players can receive, render, and publish streaming media from multiple sources. This page provides an overview of five related features.
Input
Decode and display real-time streaming media received over an IP network, using protocols like RTSP, RTP, UDP, or SRT.
Decode and play audio streams from Internet radio stations and other IP-based audio sources, using protocols like HTTP/ICY, HLS, or DASH.
Display streaming video from HTML5-based video platforms, such as YouTube and Vimeo, using the embedded HTML5 engine.
Display video content from USB-connected capture devices, such as webcams or HDMI capture cards, along with your signage content.
Output
Encode and publish the player’s signage content as an IP stream using IPTV, RTSP/RTP, or RTMP.
