Introduction

The player report is a compressed file that includes a large amount of information (generic player logs, system logs, configuration and low-level details etc.) up to the generating time. This is usually asked by SpinetiX Support for in depth analysis of player malfunction.

There are four types of reports that can be generated:

Note Notes:
The generic player logs can be used to assess performance and troubleshoot and are available in Control Center under "Logs" page. These are included into the report, so there's no need to send them separately in case of problems.

  4. Save the archive file on your computer.

To generate a standard report, follow these steps:

  1. Open HMP Control Center and go to the Maintenance page (or the Logs page).

  4. Save the archive file on your computer.

Extended report

An extended report has more information than the standard report - for instance, some files on the device are checked for corruption. Because of this, it takes more time to be generated and consumes more resources, therefore generate an extended report if specifically asked by SpinetiX Support.

Recovery report

Diagnostics page

The "Recovery report" (previously called "Safe report") provides the basic information about the file system of your device. It is available from the "Diagnostics" page of Recovery mode console.

System report

The "System report" has more information than the Recovery report and therefore it's better to generate this one. However, depending on the type of problem the player is having, this report might not be available all the time. It is available from the "Diagnostics" page of Recovery mode console.
