Display and audio settings

Description
The "Display & Audio" page of Control Center allows configuring settings related to video output, audio output, and display power saving, grouped under the following sections:
Display
Under this section, you can find an information block about the settings and status of the detected display(s), and several options for configuring the player's video output(s) signal.
- Configuration type
- Select the configuration type between "Simple", "Advanced", and "Custom".
- This option is not available on HMP300 and DiVA players, for which only the simple configuration is available, and requires a SYSTEMS Feature Set on the other DSOS players.
Simple configuration
This is the default configuration and includes the following options:

- Display settings
- Select a standard video output signal from the following:
- TV Screen (16:9): 720p 50/60Hz, 1080p 50/60Hz, 4K UHD 50/60Hz (HDMI 2), 4K UHD 25/30Hz (HDMI 1.3)
- Computer Monitor (4:3): VGA 640x480, XGA 1024x768, SXGA+ 1400x1050
- Wide Computer Monitor (16:10): WXGA 1280x800, WSXGA+ 1680x1050
- Select a standard video output signal from the following:
- Screen orientation
- Select the screen orientation as: "Horizontal" (default value), "Vertical (CW)", "Vertical (CCW)", "Rotate 180", "Flip Vertical", "Flip Horizontal".
- Video Output Selector

- The 4:3 and 16:10 computer monitor resolutions are not available on DiVA.
- The resolutions above Full HD are only available on 4K players.
- The player's content is rotated or flipped in the opposite direction to match the screen orientation, not the video output signal, meaning that when selecting a vertical orientation, the video output remains in landscape mode (e.g., 1920x1080). Some digital display totems may offer a vertical orientation setting, but that should not be activated.
Advanced configuration

- Custom video mode
- Allows selecting the video output signal mode as
resolution@refresh_rate
from the "standard video modes" provided by the player.
- Allows selecting the video output signal mode as
- HDMI display supports underscan
- This option appears only on HMP350 and enables/disables the underscan feature for HDMI connection. The HMP350 supports underscan for HDMI connection, meaning that all pixels of the image are displayed by the screen, which is standard behavior for computer monitors as opposed to consumer televisions. This feature does not affect connections using DVI.
- Screen orientation
- See above.
- Video Output Selector
- See above.
Custom configuration

- Custom video mode
- Allows setting custom resolutions for non-standard screens, either as a CVT Mode or as a Fixed Mode.
- See the Custom display settings page for more details.
- Screen orientation
- See above.
- Video Output Selector
- See above.

- "None"
- "Fixed" (previously "Use fixed schedule for display power") → enter the time of the day when the player shall turn on / off the monitor.
- "Daily" → enter the time when the player shall turn on / off the monitor per the week day.
- Select a predefined schedule for display power saving from:

- If you need a more complex schedule for display power saving, see how to set up a custom display power saving schedule.
- RS-232 power saving commands are entered from Peripherals > Automation page.

The following options are available:
- Overscan percentage
- Set the "Overscan percentage" value between 0 and 5. This allows choosing the size (in percentages) of the black frame added by the HMP to compensate for the overscan of the HDMI-connected screen. This cropping is also known as underscan, and it has an effect only when "HDMI display supports underscan" option is disabled.
- HDMI link type
