Tutorial
In older versions of Elementi, the "Click to Switch" interactive widget was using a text layer as default "page". The text layer can be edited from the "Switched Layer" property. To customize this widget to allow for a media layer to be used as default "page", follow these steps:
- Import the "Click to Switch" widget into your project and open it.
- Go the XML Tree view.
- Open the second
<title>element under the<defs>element. (i.e. the one havingxml:id = jsonParams) - Click on the CDATA in green. An editing box will open.
- Change the constructor to be "media" (i.e.
"ctor": "media",). - Delete this line:
"textContent": "Switched Layer"and the comma sign on the preceding line. - Press OK to save the changes.
- Go back to the "Properties" view and drag & drop a media on top of the "Switched Layer" media container.
